Pro 2 love

Post by sbookholt » Sat May 30, 2015 5:34 pm

Pro 2 has become my favorite synth. There is just so much detail in the sound, the knobs feel great, no nasty clicking envelopes, tonnes of possibilities. Its strange because the filter s not the most characterful, havent had much luck getting great sounds using the unconventional waves and the fm is quite different from what i'm used to but everytime I fire it up i get these really interesting sounds, i just love it.

Its great except for the CV implementation. CV implementation needs some major updates.

Had mine two weeks now and loving it.

Finding it pretty easy getting nice sounds out of it. not quite made anything with all 5 envelopes yet but had a pretty funtime running the sequencer and using the LFOs to modify things synced to the clock.

Love the filters - pretty complimentary to my Bass Station 2 and sound cool with the MS20 on my kronos.

One thing still working on is creating an ins file for Sonar (too busy playing)

Seriously. Just adding my post to the love thread count.
The Pro2 has killed my GAS for pretty much anything else. It's been months since I went web "window shopping" or listening to demos of other synths.

Well, the pro 2 did give me gas, for a Prophet 12 module, and of course I couldn't resist. Beautiful, yet compact combination.
