Noisy in lower frequencies for basic waves

Post by peejaru » Sat Jul 09, 2016 4:01 am

Apologies for the cross post (to the other dsi forum site) but is anyone else hearing odd artifacts in lower notes when the filter cutoff is fairly low? I'm hearing this on just a basic patch with single osc. Pretty much all the waves do it but the below link is using pulse (and the attached sysex is triangle as I've been experimenting).

Sounds kinda like the old school digital synths when they were playing low notes. It's baffling me so I'd appreciate any input! I've calibrated filters and am using the 1.4.1 OS. I hear it straight out of the headphone jack and the main output so I can't blame any other part of my setup. There's no USB cable plugged in.

Attached is a sysex of the patch.

FWIW I contacted DSI support and will need to send the main board in for service.
