Re: Cutoff expression pedal?

There's a knob on the right side of the Moog pedal to adjust expression intensity.

Re: P6 or p12. opinions from those that have both

I don't own both, but I thoroughly compared the P6, the P08 and the P12 before buying. To me the P6 is definitely the best sounding synth of all of them. There's a comparison of basic waveform sounds between the P08 and the P6 in a German muaic forum, and the difference is quite obvious. That said, ...

Re: Cutoff expression pedal?

Got the Moog EP-3 yesterday: it works like a charm! It has become my favorite expression pedal instantly: - good build quality - stable stand - polarity switch - very well working adjustment knob - cable for plugging (keeping the pedal intact regardless of possible cable problems/exchange) - very fa...

P6 and Cubase Quick controls

I would like to use the P6 knobs within Cubase for recording automation of Cutoff, Resonance etc. But all I get is one defition (like cutoff). As soon as I try to define another knob for another function (like resonance knob for resonance), it moves the same fuction as the first one (like resonance ...

Re: The high-pass filter. What unique value does it bring to the Prophet 6?

Subtractive synthesis works by sculpting oscillator sounds. And a high pass filter besides a low pass filter means, that you can sculpt both the low frequencies and the high frequencies, to get want you want and need. A high pass filter can be extremely useful whenever you want to reduce low frequen...

Cutoff expression pedal?

Any proposals for a well working cutoff expression pedal for the Prophet 6 with adjustable sensitivity? I had no luck with my - Yamaha expresseion pedal: it's working, but opening the cutoff too fast (with only small movement), and not adjustable - Roland EV5: adjustable sensitivity, but not working...

Thanks for a great synth!

After two weeks of use, I can say I just enjoy this synth! Big thanks to Dave Smith and everybody in that project! It has a beautiful interface connecting immediatley to the player, an incredibly flexible sound palette, and it just sounds great both with classical patches and more modern sounds, esp...

Factory default velocity curve not a good choice

By default, the velocity curve was set to 0 (one of four), when I bought my Prophet 6. That's the one that needs slight elephant pressure (at least here) among the four. The velocity curve behavior of the four curves is not documented, but after trying curve 3 (something working like in between curv...
